Mercedes-Benz USA Announces Pricing and Packaging Structures for 2023 AMG C 43 Sedan
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG C 43 Sedan, now available in U.S. dealerships starting from $59,900*, sets new standards in its segment. With technology derived directly from Formula 1™, the new AMG C 43 combines innovative drive solutions and high performance with efficiency.
The Mercedes-AMG C 43 Sedan will be offered in two specially curated trim levels for the U.S. market: Premium and Pinnacle. The Premium trim showcases a generous suite of standard equipment, while the Pinnacle trim builds upon this with additional multimedia, connectivity and comfort features. A variety of available packages and optional equipment provide customers with numerous opportunities for individualization.
At the heart of the new AMG C 43 is a hand-built M139l engine – the world's first series-production unit with an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger. This innovative new form of turbocharging is a direct derivative of the technology used by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and provides spontaneous response across the entire rpm range. The advanced 402 hp powertrain also benefits from two-stage direct injection, a sophisticated cooling system that can cool the cylinder head and crankcase to different temperature levels, and a belt-driven starter generator (RSG). The second-generation RSG provides a temporary boost of up to 13 hp during certain driving conditions and supports gliding and recuperation for maximum efficiency, among other functions.
The standard rear-axle steering, AMG Performance 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution, AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission and AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with Adaptive Damping System also contribute to the exceptional driving experience.
The exterior of the AMG C 43 features numerous AMG-specific details that underscore the vehicle’s performance character, including the AMG-specific radiator grille with distinctive chrome vertical struts. The dynamic aesthetic is further heightened by the available AMG Performance Studio Package, AMG Carbon Fiber Package, AMG Night Package or AMG Night Package II, as well as new optional 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.
The sporty design extends to the interior with a flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather fitted standard. New optional AMG Performance seats, available with MB-Tex/microfiber or leather upholstery, provide the driver and front passenger with excellent lateral support during dynamic driving.
