The day-long event provided campers with a series of fun field day activities and interactive safety education stations led by Safe Kids Worldwide to educate students about summer safety and injury prevention.

"Camp MBUSA" is part of MBUSA's corporate social responsibility initiative, Driving Your Future, which aims to empower the next generation by supporting educational programs, career readiness, and child safety.  Through this multi-dimensional partnership with mission-aligned nonprofit organizations including Safe Kids Worldwide and YMCA of Metro Atlanta, MBUSA is working to make a difference in the communities they serve.

"Preparing children for a successful future and keeping them safe has always been a priority for us at Mercedes-Benz. We are grateful for our friends at Safe Kids Worldwide and our brand ambassador, Bijan Robinson, for lending their time to create a fun and active environment for YMCA of Metro Atlanta youth, while teaching them about summer safety and injury prevention."
Dimitris Psillakis, President and CEO of MBUSA

"It was an incredible opportunity to work alongside Mercedes-Benz, Safe Kids Worldwide, and YMCA of Metro Atlanta to help raise awareness about summer safety and spend time with these kids. As a new Atlantan, giving back to the community, and especially to Atlanta youth, has been such a fulfilling experience – I can't wait to see how far these kids go in the future."

The event brought together over 50 MBUSA employee volunteers who worked alongside YMCA of Metro Atlanta staff, Safe Kids Worldwide, and Robinson to guide the campers through a variety of summer safety activities, including a helmet fitting, bike rodeo, and passenger and water safety training. Campers also enjoyed fun field day activities, including a bounce house obstacle course, relay race, tug of war, arts and crafts stations, and more.

"Providing opportunities for children to learn, grow, and have fun is core to our mission at YMCA of Metro Atlanta. We thank Mercedes-Benz and Safe Kids Worldwide for inviting Y campers to a day full of fun and educational activities. It was a memorable and informative event."
