What's New for MY2015

MY2015 Sprinter Vans will start production in July 2014. Most of the updates listed below will be available at that time unless noted otherwise. Major highlights for the new model year include two new 4‐wheel‐drive drivetrain options, as well as Super High Roof and standard Crosswind Assist. A detailed listing of MY2015 enhancements is below.

New Standard Equipment

• JA8 ‐ Crosswind Assist: available on models with single rear wheels. At speeds above 50 mph, Crosswind Assist helps the van maintain course during high winds through gentle, targeted braking.
• MH5 ‐ SCR emissions with 4.75 gal DEF tank: Universal DEF tank for all models, located on the passenger side of the engine compartment (tank currently on MY2014 4‐cylinder models)
• MV6 ‐ "V6" badge on rear cargo door for models with 6CE.
• License plate frame now in black grained plastic

New Options

• D05 ‐ Super High Roof (unpainted): available on 170" & 170" E Cargo Vans. This 3rd available roof type adds approximately 5 inches of height to the cargo area vs. high roof.
• F61 ‐ Interior rear view mirror on Cab Chassis ‐ Pg. 80
• MH8 ‐ SULEV Emissions (Fleet Only): available only with 4‐cylinder engine
• T75 ‐ Door‐mounted assist handles, driver & passenger: all models

New Packages

• F09 ‐ Shuttle Door Prep (Fleet Only) ‐ Pg. 37
• F10 ‐ Ambulance Prep (Fleet Only) ‐ Pgs. 18 & 85
• X29/X30 ‐ Two 4‐Wheel Drive choices: the new Sprinter 4x4 is available on V6‐powered Passenger Vans, Crew Vans and 8,550 GVWR & 11,030 GVWR Cargo Vans. Start of production in early 2015.

Other Updates

• Service interval increase: up to 20,000 miles depending on driving conditions
• H00 added to X12 ‐ Crew Van Heating Package ‐ Pg. 56
• L71 motion sensor removed from C06 Workspace Access Package, now fleet only option
• Option KP0 and KP2 discontinued
• Dealer Installed Accessories Listing ‐ Pg. 4
• Minor software updates to headunit, including time format
• Renaming of auxiliary/rear heating options (HZ5, HZ9, H12, H13)
