Sprinter MY 2016 Dealer Ordering Guide

MY 2016 - What's New

Due to recent regulations changes, the Sprinter will have more airbags as standard as well as a new, smaller, fuel tank. Otherwise the Sprinter remains largely unchanged for Model Year 2016. Happy Selling!

Important Information:

• KB7 (24.5 gallon fuel tank) is now standard on all Sprinter Cargo, Crew and Passenger Vans
• KB0 (26.4 gallon fuel tank) is now only available as standard on all Cab Chassis
• SH9 (window airbag, drv/pass) is now standard on all 2500 Sprinters & 3500s w/ 9,990 GVWR
• SH7 (thorax airbag, drv/pass) is now standard on all 2500 Sprinters & 3500s w/ 9,990 GVWR
• The following packages are no longer available on all 2500 Sprinters & 3500s w/ 9,990 GVWR
  • F01 - Swivel Seat Package (Fleet Only)
  • X01 - Suspension Seating Package
• These packages are temporarily not available on all 2500 Sprinters & 3500s w/ 9,990 GVWR
  • X02 - Partition w/ Sliding Door and Jump Seat
  • X03 - Partition w/Sliding Door and without Jump Seat
  • X05 - Front Bench Seat Package
• When ordering Cab Chassis, you must select either X17, X18 or X20
• When ordering Cab Chassis, you must select either V59 or LV7
• X14 is now called "Upfitter Prep Package"
• Packages F02, F03, F07, F10 and X14 will result in an "Incomplete Vehicle"
• F66 (locking glove box) is now standard on all Sprinters

New Options:

• M20 - Speed Limitation 65mph (Fleet Only)
• RF4 - Tire Brand Firestone (requires RH7)(Cab Chassis Only) (Fleet Only)
• ZH4 - Downhill Speed Regulation for 4x4 (requires ZG3 & MS1)
• J51 - Fuel Gauge, optimized for Aux. Fuel Tap (Fleet Only)
• E40 - Trailer Hitch Prep Wiring (Stand-alone option) (Fleet Only)
