Mercedes-Benz Metris WORKER and Sprinter awarded Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America

The 14th annual Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America presented three awards to the Mercedes-Benz Metris WORKER and Sprinter

For the third consecutive year, the Mercedes-Benz Metris WORKER took the title of Best Fleet Value in America for the Mid-Size Commercial Passenger and Best Fleet Value in America for the Mid-Size Commercial Cargo Van.

The Metris WORKER Cargo starts at just $26,570,* while the Metris WORKER Passenger van starts at $30,650.* The Metris Cargo and Passenger Vans are "right sized;" able to fit into the garages of hard-working plumbers, electricians, general contractors and shuttle drivers, all while offering nearly twice the cargo space and payload capacity as a traditional small van. The mid-size Metris packs a punch with a tow rating of 5,000 lbs., high levels of safety, exemplary fuel economy, and up to 15,000 mile service intervals.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Std Roof 144 WB won the Best Fleet Value in America Full-Size 3/4-Ton Cargo Van award. This is the fourth time the Sprinter has earned an award in this category. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo Van starts at just $33,790* for gasoline models and $39,790 for diesel.*

The new Sprinter offers a wide range of innovative features like MBUX (Mercedes- Benz User Experience) and state of the art safety features such as: Active Brake Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Assist, Active Lane Assist, and 360 Degree Cameras. The Sprinter is also the first fully connected van in the market being offered with a three-year free Mercedes PRO package: Optimized Assistance, Efficient Fleet management and Data Interfaces for Vans. Additionally, the Sprinter will be offered with an increased GVWR on 2500 and 4500 models, a variable stowage concept and increased cargo space and usability with loadable wheel arches, interior roof rack and shelf above roof trim.

To determine the 2019 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America™ Awards, Vincentric performed a cost of ownership analysis measuring over 2,500 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use. Using eight different cost factors – depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs – each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus D.C. using 28 different lifecycle scenarios. Winners were identified by determining which vehicles had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios within its segment.

*Plus $995 destination and delivery fee
