S63 AMG Coupe Drives the Intersection of Design, Luxury & Technology at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Lincoln Center is a buzz with the start of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (#MBFW) as it gets underway from September 4-11, with a line-up of over 100 designers showing their Spring 2015 Collections. Among the world's most renowned designers, Mercedes-Benz is showing off a trendsetter of its own, the all-new 2015 S63 AMG Coupe. Hitting showrooms this fall, this new vehicle is the latest dream car in the Mercedes-Benz-AMG portfolio. Unique drive comfort, benchmark performance, exquisite appointments and state-of-the-art technology are all hallmarks of this stunning new two-door vehicle.

In celebration of the all-new S63 AMG Coupe, Mercedes-Benz is partnering with fashion-tech pioneer CuteCircuit to showcase the intersection of fashion, luxury and technology. CuteCircuit is known for its technological couture and shares in the same merits as the featured vehicle with its innovative, technology-infused fashion garments that are breaking ground and setting trends.

This season's Mercedes-Benz display in the main lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is fashioning the road to the future and providing a visual platform for the conversion of fashion and technology. CuteCircuit fashion couture will be showcased on mannequins and worn by the Mercedes-Benz product specialists featuring the latest in CuteCircuit's wearable LED fashion-technology, all controlled with ease by a smartphone App that allows you to change the color of the garments at the touch of a button.

The backdrop of the display features luminous textile panels made of unique fabrics with special LED modules that are used to stream dynamic content as related to the S63 AMG Coupe, to create a truly vivid experience.

Power and design combine to give the S63 AMG Coupe irresistible presence and breathtaking performance, boasting 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Opening the door reveals the luxurious interior of the S63 AMG Coupe, featuring high-quality materials and fine workmanship combined with a sporty and exclusive design language. Technological advancements include an AIR-BALANCE "fragrancing" system that discretely dissipates a fragrance of choice throughout the interior of the car, an ENERGIZING massage function offering six massage programs including two options with the addition of heat on the hot stone principle, a state-of-the-art Burmester sound system and driver safety systems offering driver assistance at the forefront of the industry.

The 2015 S-Class also features Wi-Fi, offering mobile hotspot capability. To showcase this technology, Mercedes-Benz is offering the frenzied fashion media a solution to their time and transportation dilemmas with the Mercedes-Benz "Mobile Office" initiative. Mercedes-Benz S-Classes and Sprinter Vans, featuring these mobile hot spots, will be outfitted with energizing refreshments and "fashion emergency kits" to meet the needs of fashion editors as they travel to and from events throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. While on the way to their next destination, passengers will be treated to massages via the S-Class hot stone massage seat function while catching up on email and nibbling on refreshments in a perfectly perfumed atmosphere via the car's AIR-BALANCE "fragrancing" system.
